Restoring SS Angel

Well, mostly restoring...I'm not going to try to re-flock her    I did deflocked and rehaired her though.

Before you say anything, I know she's HTF (I'm still searching for a minty one myself), but I didn't take deflocking her lightly.  She came to me in a bait lot, and she was in REALLY bad shape. She was on her side because she couldn't stand, her head was already mostly flocking free, she was bald and grungy all over.  Here's the before shot ( I had just started deflocking around the symbol and back leg);

She was supposed to be for sale, but I'm really falling for her.  She turned out so nicely, I might keep her around, lol.  All I had to use to deflock her was boiling water and a kitchen scrubber.  I tried to deflock 2 others, both in bad shape, that have been kicking around since then, and they aren't nearly so easy!  I think I'm going to have to wait until I have my baby, and then break out the chemicals

Oh, she's beautiful! I have an Angel with really bad flocking that I want to deflock, too. (She has her hair, thankfully, because I can't rehair.) Great job! I would keep her.

Amazing! That flocking was so grubby and degraded, all you really could have done is deflock her, so don't feel bad. She looks minty as anything now and should be displayed proudly.

Oh she is BEAUTIFUL!  You definitely have to keep her   I don't think you need to feel bad about de-flocking rarer So Softs if they are losing their flocking at all.  -- you've given her a whole new lease on life, and you can see the beautiful colour and symbol underneath.  I'd love to have a complete set of de-flocks one day.  Great job!

She looks very pretty and you definitely should keep her. I had a Taffy that also came to me in very bad shape. I deflocked her and she looks very nice and I still have her.
