Oh gosh, I popped on to see if my account still existed and apparently it's been seven years since I had a subscription! I miss it sometimes.

I've heard of the game, if only because I played the rip-off game PonyStars when it was around (before I knew it was a rip-off, of course). I wanted to sign up with PonyIsland, but I think you have to pay to play?

I'm still an avid player, although not as active on the forums as I used to be. There are a lot of helpful guides to be found in the Help, Breeding, and Questing forum stickied directories. Just be aware that because of the recent overhaul, some links have been broken and you'll need to paste the thread number - found on the last part of the URL code - onto a newer thread and hit enter to access it.

PonyIsland, often referred to as PI, is a pony breeding game where you can purchase, breed generate, dress up, contest, and tattoo ponies of literally every color in the spectrum. There is a basic genetic system involving gene strengths and weaknesses, which create a fun challenge for those into the breeding side of the game.

Aside from the basic game functions, there are the forums, where aside from basic chatter you can find adoptables, roleplays, fanfics, etc.
Trial users don't have to pay for their accounts, but are allowed access to the basic game functions. In order to post on the forums, participate in contests, or purchase items/ponies/currency from other users, you will have to pay for an account.
