Question for Doll Customizers - Figured out

So today Hannah and I were able to get some doll stuff (clothing and accessories mostly) thanks to a craigslist ad as well as some dolls. (MH and Bratzilla)
Sadly one of the Bratzillas suffered a haircut from a previous owner, most of it actually looks cute but her bangs were cut right to her scalp.
I have hair to use to replace it, but I am wondering how hard it is to remove her head without breaking her neck. I'm afraid to warm her with a hairdryer as we want to keep the hair she still has and just rehair her bangs and I've had hairdryers melt doll/pony hair before. Any suggestions about the best way to go about this?

EDIT: Nevermind, found a youtube video finally that showed the process easily and now the head has been successfully removed from the body.
