Anyone else have exercise related New Year's resolutions?

I will say it--I am an exercise wimp.  I hadn't exercised in ages until I started on, you guessed it, January 1st.  Even starting slow, my body feels like it's staging a protest!

I got a gym membership last January (I actually love working out if I can make myself go and start, I get kinda addicted) with someone whose membership I even paid for (the whole year, yep!) and we went a few months and then she bailed and I couldn't convince her to go anymore. And I never got around to going back either. Mostly because the only time I could go was after work and I'd be too tired and didn't have someone to help push/motivate me.

Urg. Been planning to run the track at the school here once we don't have snow again. I used to like exercise videos but lately can't find a good one I like. Are you going to the gym or what?

I do! I haven't admitted it to anyone 'cuz I'm afraid I'll break it

Sort of?  Because of the state of my health, I cant just up and do a workout every day.

Its more try to go for my walks and over time gain endurance to increase them slightly so that I don't faint or collapse or get sick when im done.

I had exercise and no more simple carbs on the list- but then I got the stomache flu!  Now I'm barely back to saltines and rice porridge...

Not me. I don't really make resolutions. I just figure if I want to change something about me, why do I need a new year to do it.

Kindred spirits! Once I get into a routine I like going to the gym because it gives me a great sense of accomplishment and I enjoy that. But with two jobs it is so hard to find the time and energy - I have zero motivation to go after work. I wish I had someone to go with me. Gym buddies really help.
