It's been years

A non collector friend of mine asked me if I would make her a pony that represented her, with the tattoo she would get if she could. She selected the colors and gave me a handful of ideas to use toward the symbol. This is the result.  :blush:

It was about a year in the making. Between tracking down the exact colors I wanted, a white G1 peg bait, and trying to get those dogwoods just perfect. She already has a pony made by Hasbro with her name, so I've been calling this pony "The Princess." I really think she needs a better name, but I'm hesitating to put the word 'dogwood' in the name. Hit me with name ideas! :slug:

I'll be taking it by later today and hope it's what she was envisioning.  :lookround:

That is so pretty! I love how the dark red in her hair gives her an edgy look while the symbol is more delicate with soft pinks. The intricate lines in the symbol and the broad hair stripes have a similar contrasting effect. Great design!
