christmas cinema ?

did you go over the holidays ? i went on xmas eve and saw the hobbit which was exciting also quite sad at the end, and night at the museum (cried at the end as there was a dedication to mickey rooney and robin williams :'( )  and on new years day i saw dumb and dumber to , it was ok if you like the humor in it and the theory of everything a fantastic film about the life of stephen hawking that got a round of applause and  is on a par with the alan turing film imatation game released earlyer in december so did you see anything? xaflame

I didn't. I don't like theaters. We wait for the DVDs to come out. We watched Christmas movies at home instead.

Well, I didn't go to the cinema (slow as heck at keeping up with new films much) but I did finally check out House of Fools, including the Christmas special. Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer have been among my favourite comedians since I was a kid and they're still on top form; it's an absolutely fantastic show!

As a kid we always went to the movies at the holliday as the new Disney always premiered then and it was such a nice tradition. As a teen I went to see the LotR movies. Now I can't stand the crowds and the thought of paying for a movie, which I should have to because of the huge amount of people. I wait til afterwards when it slow down and I can watch the movies on personell discount. Of the hollidaymovies we screen I'm gonna see Exodus and the Penguins, perhaps next week when school and work is back to normal.

We generally go over the holidays and this year we were going today, as it's been a busy holiday period, to see The Hobbit. Unfortunately my 2 year old decided to fall off a chair and bang his head very hard about 10 minutes before we were due to go, so didn't want to leave him after that so we didn't make it!
