What's your favourite animal?

So, out of all the beings in the animal kingdom, which one is your favourite?

Mine, the crocodile. Because it's like an ancient god, who you can't anger, because you fear its strength. And with reason, the saltwater crocodile holds the medal for the animal with the highest bite force on the planet.

Honestly, mine is pretty basic. Out of every animal there is, I'd still have to say my favorite is a dog. I just seem to deeply connect with dogs. Doesn't matter if they're my dogs or stranger dogs, I just feel a connection and they warm my heart so much. They are just such loving and sweet animals.

For me it's Lions But I have an awful lot of favorite animals that come close.

Tigers are my hands down favourite animal followed by penguins, wolves, orcas, elephants and owls.

Can't pick just one, cannot do it. Heck, I likely couldn't choose one family, or even one clade! I love me some horses & kitties & fluffy little birds, but there's far, far too much living out there & it's all incredibly fascinating! Monotremes, nudibranchs, pangolins, Bryozoa, primates, Chiroptera - you name it, there's fun stuff out there to learn! And can we include extinct species? 'Cause there were these big flightless, carnivorous birds in SAm once...& this eagle that ate Moas...not to mention all the whackadoodle critters we've found from the Cambrian explosion...

That's a hard one for me. It'd be a tie between a few animals:

Wolves
German Shepherds
Cats
Samoyeds

And can we include extinct species? 'Cause there were these big flightless, carnivorous birds in SAm once...& this eagle that ate Moas...not to mention all the whackadoodle critters we've found from the Cambrian explosion...

I usually say Panda's, but the more I think about the more I realize that's not so true anymore! I'm really fond of African canines like Hyenas and African Wild Dog as well as Deer and Reindeer. Guess I don't really have an overall favorite anymore, the animal world is too diverse!

Horses have been my favorite for as long as I can remember.  And considering the fact that my life more or less revolves around them, I don't see it changing any time soon!
