Anyone know how to get rid of this?
« on: December 30, 2014, 03:00:09 PM »
So I bought the FS Shining Armor and Princess Cadence set off of amazon, and after unboxing, and taking off Shining Armor's shirt, I noticed a bunch of red marks:

I'm assuming it has to due with the shirt he was wearing. Does anyone know how to get rid of this? Any help would be much appreciated!  :)

Maybe acetone? I know that usually works for getting rid of marks, but not sure about stains from materials.

Maybe a magic eraser or a little sun fading?

Thanks for the tips! I tried acetone and the magic eraser. I think it help a little bit, but the marks are still there. Is sun fading the next best course of action, or is there another solution?

I think sunfading is your best bet.  Good luck!

I would cautiously try sunfading...  or a peroxide soak.

be careful sunfading, because he's actually greyish, not quite white iirc.

looks like the shirt inseams rubbed against him in package.  :/

I hope acetone works for you.  simplest solution.

Your other options are baking soda or a good kitchen & bathroom surface cleaner :) And then if nothing works...sun fading is the cure all!
