First g1 Thrift Find... Ever?!

Yay! I had an eye dr. appointment a couple towns over which didn't take too long. Right down the street there's a Good Will I haven't been to in a while and I felt like I'd be lucky today with something MLP. Usually I expect g3s or g4s if anything.

My mouth dropped open when I saw this as soon as I walked to the toys! I didn't even touch it, just immediately reached for my camera first.

I've never owned any of the playsets so this was awesome. I don't know what all it came with originally, haven't looked it up yet. I was surprised it had its instructions inside perfectly neat and new.

So! When I took it to the register to ring out, the girl rang it up and an alert came on her screen and she said 'huh, it says something about licensed and to call a number. I don't know what that means.... there we go.' And she sold it to me. I'm guessing that's because Good Will pulls the MLP products (is it g1 or all of them??) to sell on the auctions. I was super happy she didn't call and sold it to me! That would have been so upsetting, haha.

Yesss. Finding g1s in the wild is so much more fun than buying off Ebay. It's in awesome condition too. Clean, the mirror isn't scratched at all, a few accessories and the instructions. It looks like whatever child received this put a few stickers on and never touched it again! There are some unused stickers in there still.

I know!! I'm not one to explode into a fit and I definitely would not (ugh cause I have to deal with those types of people all the time at my job) but I would talk her into letting me have it since it was their mistake and not mine and I was ready to buy. Kinda makes me lose hope in finding more there ever.
