A good alternative to Photobucket?

Hey ponies!

I use photobucket for linking photos into my ebay auctions so the photos show up in the body of the auction rather than just on ebays photos section (there's a link to my shop below if you're not sure what I mean)

Photobucket is basically driving me insane lol. It makes my computer make these horrible whirring noises and run extremely slowly when I'm trying to copy the html code from Photobucket to eBay.

I've tried to see if I can find a good alternative in the past but with little success. I need something that has the quick linking feature that Photobucket has, ie, that the html link is available underneath a thumbnail of each photo in the overview of the album so I don't have to open each photo individually to access the html code. I hope that makes sense and someone can come to my rescue before I go completely mental with PB!

I don't know. I just use Photobucket, but it makes me nuts too.

I've moved some things over to Facebook. You can still pull the image link and upload in a higher quality. Alas, even FB has days when it wants to be stubborn when uploading.

Dropbox?  You can share pictures by telling it to grab you the link

You can use Imgur for those purposes. Just upload the image and it will only be able to be viewed if you have the link to it or have it linked somewhere.

It's what I use.

I use Imgur or Flickr. ^_^ I like Flickr best of the two, because it has the editing tools. I don't think Imgur does?

I ll third Imgur as a good alternative - not as much room as PB but as its ebay and you are taking pictures down after a sale it would work perfect.

I had a look at Imgur earlier and felt there were a few too many clicks to get to where I could copy the html code and there are a couple fewer clicks on Flickr so I'm going with that for now Imgur is in my mind for future if I need it though. Thanks for the input everyone

I just wish PB worked smoothly because it's set up perfectly for my needs - easy to arrange photos in albums and the html code has a quick link so you can see all links for all photos in an album without going into each photo to copy it. Stupid PB, get your system sorted, everything else about you is perfect lol.

Maybe try Tinypic? I don't think you can keep pics in albums on there though. I just use it when I wanna upload a pic to post on here.

You can do some basic editing on Imgur.. red-eye removal, cropping, drawing, text, etc.

And, as far as I know, there is no storage space limitation on Imgur like there is on Photobucket.

I feel your pain - right now for most things I do just suffer through PBs cons as they are outweighed by the pros but every time I use it I still want to throw things through the computer

I use Facebook for picture storage these days  it's easy enough to copy the picture link or the url to other websites. All of my pictures I post on here start off in FB now.

Being honest, I'm surprised I still have an avatar picture, that was loaded onto Photoforkit years ago

Im with you... I dont use photobucket at all if i can avoid it... so painfully slow and cluttered full of useless things. Iv just been using tumblr and posting them as private, since im on there the most.
