Dying blinking ponies

Do you mean like the SHine Bright types? I wouldn't put anything with electronics in it in a dye bath.

If you mean Beddy Bye Ponies like the G1 babies I've never seen it done.  I would think the glass eyes "should" be safe but with how old they are they are usually somewhat damaged and could take dye into the eyes.

OK. Fail. Firstly the baby didn't take the dye, nor did the eyes, only the hair, so I tried a 2nd one
fail.,
so safe to try, both of them have fine eyes, and bodies, just dyed hair,. lol

My blinking ponies died too, I donated them to be made into glitter-eyed ponies.  Poor scary little things!
