Did I Break So Soft Pinkie Pie?
« on: December 16, 2014, 10:34:48 PM »
I have a '09 talking So Soft Pinkie Pie Newborn who has dirt on her diaper/foot.  Of course it was the foot that you press to make her talk.

Well, I rinsed the foot in water..and it worked...

So I rinsed it a little more.

The dirt came off, but now she's not talking! *facepalm*

Any tips?

I'm letting her air dry - think she'll be talking again in the morning?

I guess try anything you would try on a wet phone as well; put her on your heater or hang her hoof in a bucket of rice or something like that. Hopefully that will extract any humidity that is left. Hope she will be talking again soon!

Thanks!

Fortunately, she is talking again!  The first thing I did when I woke up was check on her, lol.

Yay! I am pleased you woke up to her being ok again :) I have done this with a couple of toys in the past - there is a lot to be said for patience and a bowl of rice!
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

Glad she's okay!  That would be what I suggest if it ever happens again- the same treatment as a wet phone!
