CHALLENGE 4

Theme: Waiting for Santa Hooves


ENTRY 1:

No whining, it's bed time.

Surprise tells the baby ponies that it's time for bed. They whine to her about not being ready with their gifts to Santa Hooves.

ENTRY 2:

Waiting for Santa Hooves
"Ruby Stocking and Emerald Stocking you 2 quit jumping on that bed right now!" admonished their Great Aunt, Peppermint Stocking, "Santa Hooves will not come until your fast asleep."
"We know", said the cousins, "but we are just so excited! We have cookies and milk left out, and a present for the reindeer, we so want to see Santa!"
Peppermint chuckled, "Yes, dear ones I know, but Santa just won't come then and you still will not see him! How about a story to settle everyone in?"

The baby ponies all settled down in their beds to hear her tell the story of The Night Before Christmas.

ENTRY 3:

The Bowtie family just put out their present for Santa Hooves, but it looks like someone doesn't want to go to bed!

ENTRY 4:

Baby Stockings is looking at the presents already under the tree and hoping there's plenty of room for gifts Santa Hooves brings. Meanwhile Baby Quackers is all ready for bed and hoping she can manage to stay awake long enough to catch a glimpse of Santa Hooves this year. DJ on the other hand is very interested in Santa Hooves' cookies and wondering if he eats one if that would put him on the naughty list. Sometimes resisting cookies is so hard!

ENTRY 5:

The baby ponies could not decide on which treat to leave Santa Hooves this year so they prepared a smorgasbord of goodies for his arrival! They all get in their favorite jammies but are just too excited to sleep. Baby Tabby thinks a holiday bedtime story is just the thing, all the while their little kitty tries to sneak the candy cane off the table when nopony is looking..

ENTRY 6:

Baby Awake at Christmas Night

The baby Rainbow Dash is very anxious because this is her first Christmas Night.
She wanted to meet Santa Hooves, so, when she heard the sound of bells, she went outside carrying the gift that her mom cooked for Santa.
She is very happy now because she saw the Santa´s reindeer, but quick go to bed Rainbow Dash!!, or you won´t receive your gifts if Santa sees you awake!

Getting baby pegasi to bed on Christmas Eve is very nearly impossible.

ENTRY 8:

The baby ponies can't contain themselves. They brought the bed out to the livingroom just so they might be a sleep, yet present when Santa finally arrives to fill the stockings! They've prepared with carrots and gingerbread as a treat for Santas good hard work.

ENTRY 10:

Final Preparations for Santa Hooves' Visit

Drifter and Dreamer are busy hanging stockings.
Li'l Sweetcake, Baby Honolu-loo, Twist, and Waddles have set out a gift of yummy snacks for Santa Hooves (and Honolu-loo is ready in her pink bunny slippers too!)
Adults Cupcake and Moondancer supervise the final activities before ushering all the kids off to bed.
Up on the roof, Santa Hooves and her reindeer buddy have arrived.

Its the night before Christmas and the ponies have gathered at Dream Castle to enjoy the holiday season together. The decorations are sparkling, the air is filled with the scent of gingerbread and cinnamon. But the baby ponies are simply too excited to go to sleep - they have hung their stockings, put out a carrot & cookie for Santa & his reindeer friends and got tucked up in winter nightgowns but they just wont go to bed!

Your picture must feature one or more ponies "waiting for Santa Hooves" - baby ponies with everything prepared or adult ponies trying to get those naughty baby ponies to go to bed! For bonus points try to include one or more of the below bonus items/descriptions (bonuses are not mandatory to the theme and it may not be possible to feature them all).

RIGHT?! On the plus side, it's become a nice weekly activity for me! Downside, it only reminds me all the more how much I need to clean up my room, with all of these accessories strewn about searching for just the RIGHT one...!
