need to take down Ebay listings, don't want fees

Sort of a long story, but I need to take down a bunch of Ebay listings, and I don't want to pay fees for them.  Should I take them down "because there was an error in the listing" or "because the item is no longer available?"

I don't think it matters on how you end it. There may still will be fees associated though, such as insertion fees. I suggest you read this from eBay to get a better idea on how you should proceed and how it might effect you.
