Snow-globe ponies
« on: December 14, 2014, 12:45:02 PM »
Hi every-pony!

So, I was in a shop today which had the Princess Celestia and Luna snow-globe ponies for sale. I was just wondering, has anyone on here ever tried draining them? It's a weird question, I know; but the water would seep out eventually, so I thought that somebody on here might have done that :)

I was just wondering where they sell them, I haven't seen them in stores and I think the niece would love one for Christmas.

I have a couple that never had water to begin with, if that counts.

Someone customized a waterglobe Celestia into an Elsa on the MLP FB group....dangit I can't remember who, but it was gorgeous!!

edit: I found the post on the FB group, but I don't know if the person is on the Arena, and don't want to post their name. But here is her picture of her customized snowglobe pony--she even changed out the glitter inside.

I've had no luck finding them at any of the stores near me after searching for the last month or so. I wonder if they are going to be rare like some of the G3 target ponies.

That said, I wish they would do a whole line of these like they did the 80's sparkle ponies. It seems like a great idea to have pegs, babies, and maybe even a boy one...

That Elsa pony is gorgeous! :dribble:

I found Celestia and Luna at Target several weeks ago :) Isn't there supposed to be a snowglobe Cadance and Twilight Sparkle?

Yes there are four ponies in the set of Snowglobe ponies. Celestia and Luna are pretty easy to find, however Cadance and Twilight Sparkle seem much harder come across, I've seen them sell on Ebay for quite a lot of money between 35-50€.

:) Hope that helps. :)

I think besides the princesses there's supposed to be the smaller-sized ones (Diamond Mint, Rarity, Pinkie Pie), if I remember correctly (unless they're classified as something else, but they're in the same style).

Yes there are the new snowglobe ones, which are smaller. (I want them! :D lol) I meant to say in "that set" - talking about only the Princess Ponies.
Thanks for correcting. :) :D
