Need Help IDing this American Girl
« on: November 30, 2014, 08:08:12 AM »
I know it's an American Girl, but I don't know much else. She also needs a bath, but I don't know how to do that. Can I just take a baby wipe to her skin and if she finds a home the new owner can wash her hair? She is in wonderful condition, her lashes look untouched by anyone and no marks or scratches on her body. Her hair was in a braid, but I took it down. She also has a pair of blue boots and white undies.

She is one of the early Just Like You dolls. That one is probably from somewhere between 2006-2009.

Is she Kailey?

Clean her with a baby wipe or some baking soda/water paste - just don't get her body or eyes wet!

I hadn't thought about it, but it's possible that the doll is wearing different clothes than it came with.

It is quite possible she's wearing some clothes that aren't originally hers. Someone passed her to me, so I don't know any of her history or anything. She is just sort of staying here until she finds a home. Thank you for the information, I will try to further my research.

It looks like your doll has freckles, and I just checked my own Kailey and she does not have any. She also seems to have a more elongated face than my Kailey, so I'm guessing she's probably a Just Like Me doll.
