Hardly the first sushi pony but a first for me.

The sushi is polymer clay and of all my miniatures so far, took the longest to make. Texturing all that rice took a bit of time :lol:

I redid her eyes four times! My medicine makes me shake pretty badly and I always had a little tremor. I got fed up with starting over. Her hair is Jonquil(?), Peaches 'n Cream, Blizzard and Deep Sea. I think she looks yummy :)

When I first saw Baby Licorice, I thought her symbols were sushi.  :blush: So I love to see sushi ponies!

Your clay work is masterful. I'm so impressed when artists like you have the patience to make the clay look textured like that shiny shrimp and rice!

Great association! She would be a perfect sister to Munchy.

BC, I love all you miniature food ponies and she's no exception, the mini-sized sushi looks incredibly realistic! I also love her pastel yellow body colour, and the hair blend is just perfect with those dark stripes. Her name means 'egg', right? I only know a few words in Japanese but I've been inspired by Japanese cuisine recently, I love tamagoyaki. Your sculpted ones look so yummy, lol! :P
