I have held acetone to marker before and it has lightened. I continuously soaked a cotton ball and placed it down on the spot. I even left it overnight, and it worked for that. This wasn't a bait pony, but as it was under a hoof I said "let's go for it!"... Since majesty is a guinea pig, you could give that a try.. I used 100% acetone.

He's had a bleach bath, been scrubbed with Retro dolls simple and intense cleaners, and attacked with Acetone both on surface and under the skin now... I use 100% acetone too It's helpful. I'm going to cut the spots out, then modify him, so my next one can be soaking one of the spots.
Curious to see as to what the soaking of just be spot does. I've been tempted to do that with a very baity pony...but I love him too much.Might be different if it was a white pony because I could sunfade and then fill in the hole with something equally as white..hmm,...

Awaits for the thread when Majesty has melted into a puddle from all the chemical experimentation... tee hee hee. :wink, wink:Good luck with your trials, I hope you find something that will work. :o)

But Majesty had his surgery the other day, and all cancer spots were cut out. it makes it easier to measure the loss of plastic if there is any.
