list of stain removers?
« on: November 21, 2014, 10:52:19 AM »
Is there a quick reference list of stain removers? I have tried different things but I can't remember them all or how good they worked. I'd love to keep a list handy right where I clean my ponies up.

Sunfading
Sunfading with peroxide
Acetone repetitively applied with a cotton ball works for faint marks, but use caution...
Removezit

Nothing else truly REMOVES a stain..
Magic eraser can lighten them a bit

Yeppers, sunfading is the best method as long as the pony isn't white and cancerous or already looking sunburned/brown...
Mr. Clean magic eraser is great for grubby dirt removal.

Everything is worth a go :P Except anything with bleach in it! I would avoid products like removezit if you can - they will cause long term issues with pony plastic unfortunately. Magic eraser is a fantastic product and some kitchen/bathroom creams are brilliant also.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi
