Teddy Tanks are now being sold in stores

I saw the Teddy Tanks at Walmart today. I was hoping they wouldn't make it to the stores since they're not a good place for a fish.

I saw them, too.  I would never ever put my fish in one of those horrible things.

Agreed, an animal's habitat should not be a toy. I can just imagine kids throwing those stuffed animals around while the fish are in them. Horrible idea!

They don't need to recall them, they just need to stop marketing them as a fish tank. Honestly they are pretty neat for anything other than a fish tank. Can you imagine one filled with candy?

This one might suffice as a decent sized tank if it could have a filter and heater (if needed)

A fish needs more room then what is given in the belly--and they are very sensitive creatures.  If a child drops the fishtank on the ground, the fish can die from shock.  Not to mention getting enough air into the water and filtering things out.....

Even candy.  Can you imagine what one of those would look like 5 years down the road in an attic or at value village with candy inside?

I think, if its not edible or living, its an interesting idea...but yeah.
