NY Toy Fair 2015 [February 14-17]

I think those Playskool ponies are my favorite   Love how Moondancer is in there.  I am confused though why toddlers need a collector pack though 

The pegasus ponies with the "snowglobe wings" look cool as well as Sweet Apple Acres, new character brushables, and Funko Shining Armor and Cadence.  Unfortunately, I don't think I'd buy any of it though.  I know toys change with the decade, and I am sure a large amount of work goes into creating them, but a lot of it has lost the feel of MLP to me.  I especially don't like that the dolls seem to be a frontrunner.  The reason I loved MLP as a kid was because they were ponies.  I really don't like the look of the dolls or the skimpy clothes they are wearing.

The water cutie wings look really tacky to me plus all repeat characters no thanks. The new brushable looks good, no wild cutie mark magic all over it or crazy designs, nice to see a basic one for once. Coco also looks good, however whoever mentioned that this fair to to show new ideas I think you're right however they still should have shown more of the original stuff too like Funko does. The Funko booths were AMAZING! I couldn't be more happy with Princess Cadence Shining Armor and SPIKE! I cannot wait to see more pictures if anyone sees or finds them please post thanks! Also very excited about the new MLP Hikari, although they are super expensive to collect not sure yet I think I need them though they are going to come out with some amazing poses! Thats what people always said Funko needed was poses and now we will be getting them too! So for sure buying the Funkos (duh) most likely the MLP Hikari Rainbow Dashs and possibly the new brushie, and blind bags stuff (on the fence) the barn and that do look great though!

The purple + blonde winged pony in the back might be Lily Blossom, maybe? No idea about the other two winged ponies, or about the new unicorn.. I LOVE the unicorn girl, though!! She's adorable!

edit: Wait - I just thought, is the pink unicorn the one that was shown in that recent trailer for season 5 of FiM? It's hard to tell with the lighting, but their colours look similar, so maybe?

The new unicorn and Fluttershy have the app symbol in colors that complement their colorscheme (purple and pink).  I really hope the black app marks on the others are just prototypes and that they can switch them to less obtrusive colors as well.

I'm just weirded out that he has human ears and the girls don't.  I realize that in the show all the characters have human ears except when they transform or whatever, but the toy line should be consistent.  The rest of the toys have pony ears, so Flash should too.

I agree with Majesty. Although sexy-no, these toys are mainly made for little girls, if they want "sexy" they can go look at Edward Cullen or whoever tickles their fancy.
Serious, yes...even Ken looks better than Flash O.o and Ken is all sparkly, shiny happy. Flash just looks wonky :L

I'm going to hope there is at least one more ribbon haired character that just wasn't shown at Toy Fair. Since I don't think Neon Rainbow Power Cheerilee was there either but Holly Dash from the same series was there.

Yeah :\ waves with only 1 new character bug me - especially if they have some sort of weird gimmick, like the Rainbow Powers or Water Cuties. They just look so out of place by themselves on a shelf.

G4 piggy ponies confirmed! Collectors rejoice!

(But actually I think it's one of those piggy banks, they have Twilight and RD ones. They're so cute )
