Should I unbag her?

I recently purchased a large lot of ponies, and both Valentine mail order babies were in the lot, both in bags. The purple one is in an apparently unopened bag, but the white one seems to have been opened at one time. There's tape holding it closed (this might be original anyway), and there's a pink ribbon in there with her that I don't think she originally came with. The pictures don't show it too well, but her bag is not in good condition and has many, many holes.

I really like her and want to open her, but should I keep her mint in bag (if she is), sell her, and buy one that's already out? Does anyone have a mint in bag one and know what it should look like (like if there's tape, and a pink ribbon inside)?

If the bag isn't really sealed anyway other than a strip of tape and is full of holes, I'd be pretty comfortable debagging her.  I bet she's more fun that way.

i'd debag her.
if the plastic isn't sealed, there is a chance she could get damaged in the bag etc.
let her be free!!!

I think if you want to you totally should. I would say I think the tape looks pretty old and I have seen some MOs over the years with tape on the plastic so she could have been shipped that way at the time. But she is your pony It it makes you happy - go for it!

i'd hold onto the bag in case you want to sell her in the future so you at least have it.

I'd say un bag her, however it depends on your opinion. It'd be different if it were a MOC pony, though.
