G1 retro style mug gift set found at Kmart (also at Rite Aid!)

My husband saw the mug set at Kmart when we were shopping out of town. I was sooo excited! It was the last set there. I also saw a small tin with jelly beans in it with the birth flower pony at Cracker Barrel. My husband works at Gabriel Brothers and found me bags of hot cocoa with Starshine on them. I really really want the Starshine mug- is that one sold at Ross or Bon Ton?

The cookies in the Gusty sets are so good. I opened one set and left the other unopened. Tempting though.

Wow, we have NO Ross stores in Ohio! So weird because I've lived several years in VA where there are a lot of them and so when I saw Ross I'm like 'oh good I can get one. Oh wait...'

Better have my sister pick one up for me.

HEY!!!!  Walmart in Canada is selling a set of 4 of the Gusty mugs with Hot chocolate for $15!
I picked up one set but only need 1 mug, so if anyone is interested, I'll sell ya an extra mug for $5 plus the cost of shipping or a trade for a Starshine mug or something?

The Starshine mug is $4. I picked up a bunch last week, but I've sold all of them.  If you don't happen to find one, and I find some more, I can pick one up for you!

The mug set from Canada is a bit different! They have the rainbow behind "My Little Pony"  and looks like the ponies are a bit larger on the mug too!

I found this when I was shopping at walmart today, I couldn't believe that walmart Canada actually had G1 Retro items, I was so excited to see it

scary thing.... I bought my mug got it home and opened it and it has a brownish streak down it I missed in the store excitement. I went to wash it off and it looks like its under the glaze. Then I realized it's in the cup too and drips down then pools in the bottom. It looks like blood. Like maybe someone cut themselves at the factory and maybe a cup got missed and it was glazed and sent out.

Grossed me out. I only saw one when I went there so I'm hoping they have another that I can swap it out for that I over looked. :/

I got one of the four mug w/hot cocoa sets at Walmart in Canada today and one of the mugs had the brownish streak like yours.  One streak was on the handle and the other was over Gusty's horn & ears.   Under where the brown was on the horn area, the design is smeared.

For Canadians, have a look at your Walmart as the set of four mugs is now only $7.50!!!

I told my sister to go pick me up the Starshine one at Ross and while I was at work she texted me saying she found it and another one and asked how many I wanted. I texted later and said sorry, the one was fine, and she told me she bought me 4 of each! Sweet sister. I got the package a while back. Love love the Starshine mug!

After taking the mugs out of the package and seeing the brown gunk where the horn is messed up and also the handle, I can see that the brown is not blood as someone thought.  It's the brown outline of the transfer that was messed and ended up on other parts of the mug.
