So sorry to hear Spiffy.. this is pretty bad.. you know I was thinking since they are sold out we might not see them in HT stores for weeks or possibly never. They might just skip ahead after all the complications.

I received a call from California , District Manager for Houston Stores

He was very nice and said that the person who I talked to that day is not a manager and that going forward there is limits to in store purchasing to 3 ,He apologized for being treated badly that day and said that the new policies are in place mostly for customers who buy thousands and then try to return them once they do not sell them but also for people who buy 30 going after a glitter and then returning them all.
He said he knows I have not had crazy returns in my HT1 account and apologized for the store giving me an open box, but he assured no funny business is going on there.
he also said that their warehouse is a different entity all together and they sometimes mess up orders like the one I only received 2 instead of 4 .
I told him to expect a collective letter from the collectors in the future.

I'm going to start writing my letter sometime after this weekend since I'll be able to sit down and concentrate on it without any distractions.

I'm nearly finished the first draft of my letter.  Have everything that happened to me documented up until a few moments ago.

I'm not every angry anymore, just sad.  This was a huge disappointment.

Looking at all of our posts since 10/29 - we went from excitement, to confusion, to frustration, and now...well, this mixed bag

    I have 2 extra celestia's if anyone needs one.  I got them a little cheaper so $17 each.  I didn't get any glitters in my order but a store just called a little bit ago and they have one on hold for me!  Glitter celestia, none of my stores have got luna yet?

I got a reply to my pm I sent to Hot Topic's Facebook page. At this point, I'm seeing this answer I got as a generic, totally pointless non-answer.

They're starting to ship out this week. We show that your order is still processing. I'll send an email to our warehouse so that they can expedite the processing.

I have a horrible feeling, that I'm never going to see my figures.

I think we can all agree that this wave is a nothing but a huge giant mess! Id rather have this wave be about paint errors then order delays/stolen preorders. I agree we should all write to Funko and HT about this experience. Although I didnt preorder, id like to do anything to help so this never happens in the future.

Im sooo sorry again for your troubles Spiffy!! Thats absolutley DISCUSTING someone would steal your ponies, especially before Christmas. Your message to your customers on ebay sounds very reasonable! I feel for the people who preordered and wanted these in time for Christmas as gifts. Hopefully they will all understand and its wonderful you are refunding them! Lots of happy hugs your way!

I received an email that my order had arrived at my HT store yesterday, and also got a call from Mike there, letting me know they were in.  I of course had to come down with the flu yesterday and couldn't go get them myself, so my wife and son went to grab them.  My son said the box was sealed, and they opened it in front of him to inspect the Princesses for damage.  Thankfully there was none.  We didn't get any of the glitter variants either, which I'm okay with.  Other than the delay on these figures and the generic canned answers you'd get when calling customer service, my experience wasn't that bad.  Sorry some of you are having such difficulties!

My last order they cancelled telling me they were out of stock... I ordered on DEC. 2nd why in the world would they put them back on the site if they were outta stock!

I PMed HT  through FB last night just to check if they request for the refundwas placed.

They told me they need to investigate/file a claim with FedEx and the distribution center.  Can take up to a week, weekend & Christmas not included.

They asked for my number & they best time to call.


So...maybe Indiana didn't place the request?  Or maybe they just wanted to explain the process.

Mine never shipped, so I'm just getting a refund. If they do exist, they can go to someone else. If they never existed, I don't have to stress about them.

Holy cow, what is wrong with them? My order went perfectly normal and I'd never know what a mess they've been for other people if you guys hadn't shared. Put the order in the box, mail the box, TA DA!!!! Not rocket science.

My Hot Topic actually had Celestia on the shelves today.  I even managed to get a glitter.  So, at the very least parts of Pennsylvania have one of the princesses!
