lets see some Chap Meis  from the "original"  ones that came out in the 90's  to the  lesser quality re-casts of today,  I have a small heard of Chaps that I'm trying to grow  but it seams the  older ones are  a bit dificult to get a hold of , in particular the baby ones!.

some "original" girls,  the green one is clearly a  knock off of  MLP's g2 Ivy
the white girl in the middle has had a hair cut , and the white girl on the end was a reroot i did for my mum

"original"  Ivy like  chap with 2  latter recasts , the later ones have very squishy plastic and the cuti mark has become more stylized

the one with a hair cut is all original ,  oddly the white ones i have don't have cutie marks

the yellow one is by far the  lowest quality one of the group

now lets talk about the babies'
and ill say now i am looking at getting more  chap mei babies  but preferably the "original" ones, these were re-made at some point too and the later ones are  significantly diffrent to the ones that came out in the 90's

chap mei baby and a fakie chap mei baby
you'll notice that the fakie is a lot smaller.
the  white baby is solid plastic and the tail is  rooted into 1 central hole.

the green baby is hollow, her head comes off , she is very soft / squishy and the tail is individual plugs as is typical of most fakies of any type.

I have two real ones (white w/ yellow hair & purple w/ pink hair) and one fakie (purple/pink).
I had all their accessories but sold their wing-saddles because nobody was interested in taking the lot, I'm probably going to end up donating the ponies. I gave Shining Armor one of their pink crowns though, he looks fabulous.

I never knew there were babies though, they're quite cute.

I have three Chap Meis! I have one legit, and two fakies, as well as two lil babies, both are fakies, I think

This is the worst quality fakie, with her baby. I call her Sylvia

This is the pink one, I call her Galaxia. Did chap meis come in different poses because she leans to the side slightly, but shes perfectly stable. Shes also got a wee baby.

Oh, I think I have the white one with golden ring around her neck somewhere. Probably her wings and crown too. I used to have ton of those little metallic color saddles, but I don't remember the actual ponies they came with.
