Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire

Finally made up my mind and preordered my copy of Alpha Sapphire. Though I'm really thinking of treating myself this Christmas and get Omega Ruby as well... I just love both legendaries as well as the bad guy teams Team Magma and Team Aqua...

Ehhh... it's things like this that make me wish they'd made the Delta Emerald and combine both storylines... that'd be epic.

Speaking of which - they've just announced a, so-called, "Delta Episode".

Apparently it'll feature an epic space battle between Rayquaza and Deoxys, as well as focus on a mysterious human character called Zinnia. Also it appears that the ORAS remakes will be tied to the X and Y series, as Wallace makes a mention of AZ at one point in the story. Which actually makes me wonder, wether or not we'll be able to travel to Kalos post-game, like we did from Johto to Kanto in the original Gen 2 games and their remakes.

Gosh, I swear, the more I read about those games the more I'm beginning to think that they're more like sequels than the actual remakes.

They're just seem so jam-packed with all the additional content... not that I don't mind - I'm actually all for it!

As much as I like X and Y, it's kind of upsetting that you don't really have that much to do after you complete the main storyline...

That was the only downside, for me, when it came to X and Y.  Still my 2nd favorite generation as far as Pokemon go, but the game content could've been a lot better.

If the new games are more like sequels than remakes, I'll probably like them a lot more than I thought.  I finally decided that I'll just go ahead and get Omega Ruby next week (my fiance is getting Sapphire).  The demo was all sorts of boring, but that doesn't mean the game itself will be.  We'll see!

Yeah X and Y was boring once you beat the Elite 4. Even moreso if you dont have any real interest in Battle ______ (I always felt they were a waste of time) or hardcore Pokemon training.

Really? That is weird! I wonder if the demo code is "region-locked" ones. Like they only work in a certain country. I don't think that would be the case, so quick Google search here I come!

Wow, that would explain why some people said their email code didn't work.

A quick search came up with people ( and a few sites) stating what region their code is/from, so I don't know if my code will work for you since I live in the US. But I'll still PM it to you just to be certain.

I'm about to cancel my preorder. Whilst it'll always be my favourite game, I have more important things to be paying off right now, I'm sad I won't get a shiny mega metagross, but eh, I can always trade for one in future. In truth, I ahven't played my 3DS XL for about 2 months now as I just don't have the time, and I owe my mum for a £55 iPhone 3G (which I don't even use), and I'd like to work on my Disney DVD collection a bit more, so this will sit on the back burner possibly til mid next year.

EDIT: All cancelled, and I must admit, I do feel much better now, since I've owed mum the money for a month, and I get £5 a week PM still so I need to pay her back asap!
