Unfortunately, Spitfire looks terrible. She looks like she is on some major major ... medications.

I guess that explains why her pupils are so dilated...

This style definitely suits Discord the best!

Not the biggest fan of the Pop! pony figures but I do have to agree that the Celestia and Discord are definitely adorable! Celestia is certainly tempting.

My reaction to these guys is usually "Yeah, I can see why people like them, but they're not my thing." But that Celestia is just precious. I think it's the giant crown. It gives her an "excited little kid playing dress-up" cuteness.

I really wish they didn't use that eye style for Spitfire on either her regular vinyl or her POP. She just looks stoned. It's awful. I'm not a fan of the Wonderbolts costume either, so both of those things keep me from owning either version of her.

Celestia is cute though. I hope we see AJ and Rarity soon. I already know I'll need AJ for sure.

I completely agree. I ended up getting Spitfire mostly because I was actually able to find a decently painted one in Toys R Us when I got Bon Bon (they're usually all crap). Her eyes bug me, though.

I'm thinking we'll see AJ, Rarity and Luna soon so that we'll get 7 figures in this wave, like the last one.

No street date yet, but I feel like it'll be either December or January. I know the mini Discord POP that comes in a tin with mini Rainbow Dash and will be out in Jaunary, so I'm just guessing the regular POP's will be out around then as well.

Looks like they'll be released in January! I just checked Instagram and saw.

Why do they always have spitfire with her eyelids partway closed?  It looks so ridiculous.  I totally need Celestia though, she looks totally awesome.

Funko did the vinyl Spitfire and now apparently the POP Spitfire with the eyes half-closed-  because she kind of looks like that in the cartoon at times.

The problem is, she doesn't ALWAYS look like that- and what works in a dynamic, moving cartoon- does NOT work in the plastic.  I don't object to giving her an eyelid- but having her eyes permanently drooping at 50% just makes her look like she is heavily sedated or something.  They should have learned from the first Funko mistake.  Probably though they are afraid of brony bully blow-back whine-fest, which is starting to become rather common when a manufacturer/comic book artist/plushie designer does something they don't like.... visitors can't see pics , please register or login

You know, I've always had this feeling that most of the bronies that go on whining about these things don't even collect anything, so they just need to collectively stfu. It always annoys me to see people pick apart what is an otherwise great collectible item, knowing damn well that they weren't going to buy it anyway. It's one thing not to like something and to point out its flaws, but it's another to go on and complain about every single little thing.

Of course, that isn't directed at anyone here. We're on a forum dedicated to collecting, so I'm sure you all are collectors and it seems we're good at discussing our likes and dislikes without hurting feelings.   

But yes, I think the drooping eyelids thing could work if the mold was in a different pose. When she's just standing like the rest of the ponies, she looks tired/stoned. It's not a very good look.
