Plush Seapony!

Hi ponies,

I wanted to share with you my seapony plush!

I created the pattern for her body myself and it was NOT easy. There were a lot of false starts and odd looking ponies  For the head I used ValleyViolets pattern, but I would like to create my own head.

She kind of based on High Tide, but her head isn't in the looking up position Her tail is filled with plastic pellets so she does stand

I am happy with her, but of course I can see all the little things I would like to change about her. I can make those adjustments on my next seapony

I entered her into the craft contest and I was delighted to win third place with her especially since she was made on the Thursday night before I left for PonyCon AND it was the first go I had making the pattern in minky.

Wow, so beautiful! High tide is my favorite sea pony! (It's the colors!) She was also my first choice when I began mlp watercolors!

She's adorable, you did an amazing job on the fins and the body shape! Her head could perhaps be a tad fuller? Just an idea for future plushies, I know nothing about making them so I'm not sure if that can be achieved with more stuffing or if it requires a lot of extra work and adjustments to the pattern. ^^'

It is the head I was not fully happy with. She is firmly stuffed so I need to adjust the pattern. Her eyes are a little too far down her face, but that was an accident. I should have sewn the head darts first THEN put the eyes on, but I did it the other way round.

Seapony plushies must be super cuddly without those limbs sticking out in every direction, lol. This is the first one I've seen and like I said, the body pattern turned out amazing. I can't wait to see your next one!
