I saw this to and I am underwhelmed by it. Why cant other 80s girl franchises that are rebooted by as successful as My Little POny. I am also no a fan if the new Strawberry Shortcake and Care Bears.

My initial reaction is dislike but I don't want to knock it... I know they have to make it edgier I guess to appeal today. Starlite could definitely have been drawn better. He looks weird like that.

Not really impressed by the valley girl dialog in the clip, but at least Starlite isn't bragging.  I loved Starlite's looks in the vintage Rainbow Brite, but couldn't stand his arrogant personality.  Yes, you're pretty and you can run fast, but you're a jerk, Starlite.

Well, it's better than past RBB reboots..... Still not quite what I was expecting..... But I don't hate it.

Is it going to be online only? It's not going to be on tv?

Okay this looks cute. Kinda like the new SSC where it is modern but still has the feel of the original.

i think it's adorable!! and i'll totally watch/buy it.
i'll have to see it first to see if my niece can handle it, but should be ok.

i love the old franchise, but i'm really looking forward to seeing what they did with this.
i know many thought the same about fim when it came out. (skeptical) but well i think that turned out great.
but i'm an optimist when it comes to stories. only 2 books i didn't like, 1 movie i hated, and most tv shows well... if they are cartoons with a storyline are great.
so i'm excited! can't wait!

I want to hate it.  But the sea otters holding hands made me laugh, so I'm gonna have to give it a shot.  I didn't like FiM at first, either, because it messed with my idea of my childhood my little ponies, but once I sat down and watched it, I changed my mind.
Maybe she won't be so ditzy on the release?  Maybe they're still just playing with her character?
