love the way they've packaged that whole set. its very cool congratz

I really like the fact that they didn't pattern the treasure chest after your typical square profile, wooden 'pirate' type chest, but more after those of ancient Egypt or the ancient Middle Eastern cultures! In fact, I'm quite impressed with the job "A. K. Yearling" did incorporating tidbits of so many different human cultures, past & present, into Equestria. It's quite a mishmash! For those who've gotten the books, see how many you can pick out!

I really want this, but the price is stopping me from getting it especially since I don't even know if I'll actually enjoy the books. It would need to be about half the price for me to really consider it. I've had plans to do a Daring Do adventure comic on Tumblr though...we'll see if it ever happens. And so I've really started to get into Daring Do stuff and I'd also like to read the stories to make sure that anything I do still works with canon.
