Better Off Ted (Season 2 coming to DVD!)

Okay, so this show (called Better Off Ted) has been my favorite thing outside of ponies since it was on the air. For years now, us fans of the show have been waiting and begging and pleading for them to put season 2 on DVD (the show was wrongfully canceled after two seasons, and to add insult to injury they only published the first season).

But I just found out that season 2 is coming out in November! I am ridiculously excited. First the original MLP is re-published, and now season 2 of Better Off Ted! What's next, I wonder?

Anyone else excited about this? Give a shout if you're a fan of the show (and if you're not -- it's on Netflix. Go watch it and change your life).

I saw your Better Off Ted posts on Instagram and it reminded me that I wanted to watch that show! I'm glad to hear that they're releasing the second season on DVD, and doesn't it just suck when a show is wrongfully canceled? I swear too many shows I love have had that happen. Ugh!

Ugh, yes! And then people tell me they don't care to watch it because it was canceled so it must not be good. :/ Because that makes sense.

And yeah, I've been Netflix bingeing today.

I literally just said to my fiance "The show is probably really good since it got canceled". These days, it seems like it doesn't take much for a show to be pulled, no matter how good it is.

Hehe, yes. It's really good. A lot of shows get canceled these days because people aren't watching regular TV anymore. I mean, I don't have cable -- I only have Netflix and internet. And I don't think any of my friends have cable -- just my mom.

We have cable because Comcast is ridiculous and it's cheaper to have basic cable and an internet package if we want decent speed internet. So we watch TV sometimes, but not nearly as often as we can. Usually we just watch things online, so I'm sure you're right.

Ah, yes, that was the same reason my mom had Comcast. But then she moved and, because she had so many shows she watched, she got cable again. But she keeps asking me about Netflix and might be planning to get it? This is a woman who still uses her VCR, so Netflix would be a big step forward for her.

My brother likes Better off Ted, so I pre-ordered the DVD for him for X-Mas, but he doesn't really watch DVDs. He pretty much ONLY uses Netflix and other internet sources.

Im glad that they are releasing season 2 for you.  I agree about being upset about a show getting pulled when you are insanely into it--that happened with Sonic Underground many moons back.  They left it hanging by a single thread with no outcome :/

Quirky single camera tv sitcoms don't seem to last these days, I was also sad so see The Neighbors get canceled, I don't really buy dvd's anymore but I am glad this is coming out.

Yeah, "30 Rock" was relatively popular, but even it still only lasted for five seasons. :/
