Not feeling good and can't sleep. It should start around 2am here, so I'll at least stay up to catch some of it. Maybe. Or I may fall asleep before then and be lights out. If I miss it, I'll check this thread when I wake up.

It's 7:15pm here and they just said on the news that it's starting about now!! But as we are in dumb daylight savings, it's still broad daylight!! The clouds are a funky pinky orangey colour though, not sure if that has anything to do with it

It's just started here as well, our moon will be setting as it gets into the full eclipse though. I believe the Lunar Eclipse is also referred to as a blood moon because the atmosphere scatters most of the blue light, leaving only the red to hit the moon — causing it to appear red, so that may be what you're seeing Kezrob23 We're also supposed to be able to see the Draconid meteor shower which will reach it's peak tonight.

OMG. So, it's cloudy tonight here in Seattle, but that didn't stop the eclipse from being epic! THE ENTIRE SKY IS RED. This awesome pale red, everywhere! And a strange corona of muted light too, it's AMAZING. The eclipse is turning the clouds red! Earlier, before the eclipse started, the moon was super bright and lighting up a ring of clouds... but now everything is red, it's so cool!!

There was supposed to be something visible here this morning around the time I got up, but it's all cloudy It's always cloudy when these things happen.

It really sucks for those that didn't get a chance to see it, it was quite beautiful. I tried to get some pics, but since I only have my cell, they aren't the best lol, not to mention that the moon setting coupled with all of the bloody streetlights really takes away from it.

We didn't get the blood red colour here, it was more of a faint washed out orange/gray just across the moon, very subtle, but pretty
