Autumn is my favourite season! Here are some of my latest pony pieces I wanted to share with you.

Harvest Applejack, a calendar picture for August. The calendar was made as a group project on the Finnish MLP forum. Mixed media: Indian ink, Copic markers and coloured pencils on AJ; the scenery was painted in watercolour; the smaller circles were filled in with scrapbooking paper and outlined with bronze gel pen. The yellowed paper background was added in digitally (texture by Dioma).

I love the style on Harvest Applejack. It looks like it's leaning towards the art nouveau side of things!

Thanks Tulip, I'm so happy someone spotted the art nouveau influence! I didn't want to go overboard so it's quite subtle but the thick outline and the circular motifs are definitely nouveau inspired. Alphonse Mucha is one of my favourite artists. ^-^

Oh lovely. I do love mixed media but I am adoring that first image especially.

Fall is one of my favorite seasons.    Both pics are gorgeous, but I just adore the movement in the first image.  The arch of the neck and the mane are stunning.

Thank you! I looked at images of real horses to get some inspiration for the pose, most of my ponies just stand there but this time I wanted some action! Though what I was looking for was a full body pic and then I ended up doing this instead.
