What's with this Rainbow Dash?

Hello all! I recently got a very interesting Rainbow Dash from eBay, and I can't find information about her anywhere. What is she? Just a weird variant? Prototype? Discord's creation?
She has three spaced out chunks of tinsel hair in one row, and the other side is hair that is missing the Orange and instead has blue, but is a crystal empire pony.

Oh...oh lol... Poor RD! I think she's one of victims of bad Hasbro's quality control I think it's a manufacture's error



Or our RD has decided to become a punk and has her hair cut

She may be a test pony, to see which colors look best or whatever...I think a few of these have popped up, so she's a nice score! As a collector of the odd and unusual, i'm kinda jealous!

I believe she's an early prototype of the Rainbow Power tinsel ponies. I seem to remember her popping up in small numbers. Later prototypes were almost exactly the same as the released ponies except they had the tinsel 1st and 3rd and the regular hair 2nd and 4th.

Poor soul! I have seen quite a few variations of tinsel mane 6 to be fair - she looks like one of the many that have popped up since even before the Rainbow Power line.

oooh! you are very right! she's like a hybrid of crystal empire and rainbow power! Rainbow Crystal Power Empire anyone? New hasbro line? jokes! 

I got to say though, the blue in the mane looks super nice!
