Lets put a stop to this growing problem!

I'm increasingly aware that my son will not stop growing. What is up with this?! I did not sign up for this at all, maybe I should have read the fine print of parenthood? But what a sneaky thing to throw in! 

This is my super official petition to stop children from growing!

My son is almost 11, and hes also almost taller then me, yeah ok see I stopped growing when I was in like the 6th grade, so whats up with this? Its a "growing" problem that needs to stop.

I think if I get enough votes, someone will put a stop to this right?

Hey, not all of us grow up! I'm fully grown at 4' 11". I'm 33 and I'm always mistaken for 15 or younger.

Im 5'5" and my 10 year old son is at about the same place xD
In my case, I had a HUGE growth spurt in grade school, back then I was actually taller then everyone else, but that was it! I quit growing, have been this tall since then rofl.

I'm 20, fully grown at 5'7", without kids, and I run into tons of middle and high schoolers that are taller than me

Kids grow so rapidly, the younger they are the quicker they seem to shoot up. My old job I started back in july / august 2013, working with 1 - 2 year olds, some of them have literally doubled in size in the time I have known them. Ive also seen some take their first steps, speak their first words etc. Some can now hold a conversation with me :S

I miss my little bubbas, but I have a brand new group of toddlers at my new job that are already growing on me and im not even two weeks in yet.

Its a shame they have to grow up.

Heh.  I thought that most parents want their kids to be tall?

My mom's fairly short, so she was fairly happy when my brother and I inherited our height from our dad instead.

Miss Girl will be 15 soon and she's already gone past me (only a little bit).

I also remember telling Mr. B, my last child, to STAY as a baby so I could always enjoy his baby cuteness. He never did listen to me. Although, looking back on that, I'm a little glad he ignored me because I'm now too tired to take care of babies. Gotta have my sleep!

I'm 5'6 on a good day. My Mom was 5'8 and my Dad is 6'1. As a kid I didn't grow all that much but I made up for it in eating. My teen years, yeah you'd have thought my family had three kids. Nope just your typical teenage boy and food.
