Omg I just need to brag for a little bit! for a while now I've been participating in writing contests (in Dutch). I came in third in another contest already earlier this year, but that story didn't get published (yet), the contest didn't have an anthology or anything.

Today I went to the award ceremony for a contest for stories up to 1500 words, in Belgium. Although I came in 63rd (out of 259), my story got selected by the editor to be in the anthology! This is published as an actual book so it will be available in stores and such. I'm so happy, you have no idea! Getting published has always been my big, big dream ever since I was six and read my grandfather's books (he wrote children's books about his own family :) ). I can't believe it has finally come true now!

Also it's even more special as this story was inspired by dolls, which is my big hobby next to ponies :)

Awww thank you so much everyone ^.^ I still can hardly believe it!

Rachel-Eyes: I don't think you'd know him, as he only published Dutch school books, including an entire book series about his own family (which includes my father :) ).
