Random G1 Mug found at Citywalk

I was told by a friend a shop at Universal Hollywood Citywalk had a bunch of G1 pony merch and sure enough they did. They had zip pouches with Firefly and Sundance, a lunchbox that's been posted before, a Firefly and Sundance lanyard, and then this mug which I've never seen before.

Is this new? Are there other G1 mugs asides from the Pony Fair ones?

I don't know if it's "new-new", but it's definitely newer, not from the 80s.  (I can tell from the pony designs.)

These have been out in stores over on this side of the pond for a while but I think they were very scattered in the US - thats great that they are perhaps more readily available for people

They are part of the current "retro" merch artwork that is floating about by lots of different licensees.
