I have stumbled across some very nice care bears at garage sales and the likes in my time.  Like ponies, they really are iconic of the 80s.  I hope you enjoy the forums and chatting with all of the other collectors here :)

kiwimlp, yes, they sure are!  And just like ponies there are US and UK exclusives. They're also pretty expensive (for stuffed toys) if they're in nice shape. I have a decent collection. I have no hope of getting the UK ones any time soon though.  Do not have enough money.  :|.

Isn't it funny how different countries had different toys?  I was lucky that my country had the Alt. Birthflower ponies because I couldn't have afforded them otherwise :)
