Uh, hi.
So, I'm completely terrified of posting my efforts here, because I'm in awe of all the amazing work on display, but here goes:
I like the toys a lot, and I love seeing what people do with them and, as a collector of BJDs, I like customizing things. Many many months ago, I snagged the first pony I'd had in years (a big-10" or so-G3.5 styling pony) at a thrift store and turned her/him into Dr. Whooves, but ultimately ended up not that happy with the result. Fast forward a few months, and my Marvel obsession flared up again, and Dr Whooves ended up being stripped down and turned into a My (Not-So) Little Deadpool. (Uh, I mayyy also have a thing for Deadpool specifically. Possibly.
) Then I decided I need a Cable to go with him, and a Domino to go with
him.
...And then came Bronycon, when I picked up a dozen of the McDonald's prize ponies for $4. (3 ponies for a dollar! Who could possibly resist that ? Certainly not me.) I actually only had plans for about half of them, which were to make a my little Uncanny X-Force (the incarnation with Wolverine as leader). That particular plan was shot once I sat down and started making a list. You know how it goes, right? "Well, if I make A, B, C, D, and E, what harm is there in making X? And if I make X, I should probably make Y. And of course, having Z around wouldn't hurt." And so it happens that I now have a dozen members of the ever-changing X-Force roster trotting around my house along with their giant buddies.
All of the McD's ponies are G3, a mix of the 2005 and 2008 sets, and they've all had some degree of sculpting done with sculpey. The biggest issue for all of them was carving off the moulded tails and patching up the rear legs. I think I did a reasonably decent job for a n00b, but the paint doesn't entirely hide that the patches exist. Some of the paint jobs are slightly messier than others. but since they're collectively my first effort at working on this scale, I can't be too disappointed in myself, I suppose. Additionally, the two pegasi have had wing transplants from DG pony toys called "Golden Beauty", and all of the unicorns have had their horns sculpted on; all of the ponies I bought were originally earth ponies.
So, ponies!:

Cable:

Domino:

All of her straps and harness/holsters are in pleather, and her gun is out of a quarter machine. She's smaller and lighter weight than the boys, so I needed a smaller gun.
And the one who started it all, Deadpool:

loginHarness/holster/katana rig all made of pleather. His knife is from a GI Joe, the grenades are also from action figures, and his guns are single-shot cap guns in a different style than Cable's. Katanas were made from pencils painted and wrapped with yarn. (Don't tell the others, but he's my absolute favorite.)
Bonus shot, for size reference. Big Deadpool on the left, little Deadpool on the right (obviously):

Hope-2005 Minty, Fantomex-2005 Pinkie Pie, X-23-2005 Wysteria, Wolverine-2008 Toola-roola, Psylocke-2008 Toola-roola, Archangel-2008 Pinkie Pie, Nightcrawler-2005 Pinkie Pie, Cyclops-lightly-modified (head repositioned with judicious use of super glue and sculpey) 2005 Butterscotch, Deadpool-2005 Wysteria, Cable-2005 Sparkleworks, Storm-2008 Cheerilee, and Domino-2008 Pinkie Pie
My only problem now is that I want to make a set of Avengers ponies (and possibly a set of Justice League ponies) to go with them.
