...Er, that is, people who *like* ponies, not people who *are* ponies. ...Unless you are, I guess, in which case I would love to know how you type with hooves.

*cough* So, uh. I'm a 26 year old new-ish collector from Baltimore, MD. I had some ponies when I was little, but haven't owned any since, pretty much. I actually just confirmed that yes, the Petite Ponies are a thing that exists and that I'm not imagining having had tiny MLPs that went with a playset Sadly, they have been lost to time, but I do remember having the palace and at least a handful of ponies.

 I've really just got into collecting again,and right now only have a handful of ponies, all of which I've customised. So far I only have G3s and a couple which I *think* may be some kind of G3.5 style fakies. (I've been trying to identify one of them, actually, because it's really bothering me that I can't figure out where he came from and whether I could possibly get another one.) Weirdly, I don't have any regular sized ponies yet; they're all either the tiny McDonald's prize ponies or oversized styling ponies.

I started collecting (or collecting again, maybe) because a) I'm ever-so-slightly addicted to the show, b) I like the toys, and c) they're a great vehicle for creativity in addition to being cool on their own. I love customising them, but I'll probably end up getting a few of my favourites to add to my collection as they are.  Oh, and FiM/G4 is my favourite cartoon, but G3 are my favourite toys. Hm, what else? Oh! I also make crocheted pony plushies, which are really fun to make, and I'm kind of a Marvel fan, which means that all my custom ponies so far are Marvel comics characters. (I have three Deadpool ponies right now, one of which is crocheted. ...And a PinkiePool. ...And a whole set of My Little X-Force ponies I just finished. ...And, uh, a crocheted Pony Stark. >.<)

I had never seen a petite pony until I stumbled across three of them at a garage sale. I bought them because they looked like little MLPs (lol, like duh!) and was surprised when I discovered they were the real thing.  I hope you enjoy the forums and meeting all of the other pony fans here

Thanks for the welcomes (and the confirmation that I'm not the only one who wasn't sure the petite ponies were real)! I definitely think I'm going to enjoy it here.
