FS Fluttershy with the green dress?

I've seen a stock photo of her with the green dress, but it's always pink on a real photos.

i have fs fluttershy and i never realized that the cape was pink. When i saw the post i had to go take a look at mine because i wasn't sure lol. I kind of prefer the pink cape but it would be pretty neat if the cape were reversible

I think she is in the same pony-myth status as Blossomforth with bangs or alternate stripe Cupcake. She does exist...but probably only in minuscule, i.e. 4 or 5. They would have been produced and supplied for promo shots. She may not even exist any more and simply have been disposed of after she was used We used to have to actually destroy products used for promo images pre launch.

However, the alternate Cupcake, at least one of them, as shown up and is owned by someone. So its also possible at least 1 or 2 of them may have snuck into the hands of someone who would have popped them up on Taobao. But unless she is in someones collection now, I would be surprised if she turns up.

She did show up on taobao.com in the green dress, but this may have been the prototype.

No offense to pink lovers, but I Love the green dress on her. What a bummer that she's not actually in production that way. And how frustratingly wasteful that products used for promo shoots are trashed.

Comparing the two green-dress product shots, I see that the baskets are different colors.... which means there were probably at least two MIB green-dress Fluttershy ponies produced, although who knows if they ever made it out of China.

What a neat little oddity, it's really fascinating!

Isn't it really common for accessories to change in production from promo shot to finished product? I'm honestly not very surprised that they decided to do this. The green does look nice, but I feel that with the way that the pink one looks on her, it looks like more of a polished product. It's just my opinion though!

It would be really neat if someone actually had her, and maybe just didn't know what they had? I think someone could possibly own her, and not actually realize they have a prototype.
