Finished sculpting, got it dried, got it primer-ed and got the first coat of paint done. It was super sunny and warm out so I thought I'd go ahead and put the pony outside to dry. Walk inside start cleaning house and it starts pouring rain. My pony paint looks just awful I am trying to salvage it but its so sticky...

Gotten some etching done but I can't find my Dremel! 

I can't do the next bit of sculpting without that thing!  *sigh*  I suppose I'll have to make an emergency trip to Lowes tomorrow.... not like they don't get enough of my money now...

Started the actual real painting now...... So far so........ Tolerable? LOL Anyway I am trying hard here! Hopefully the other side will work out ok. If so maybe just maybe I can call this pony a success. Well probably not. I rarely think that. But we can pretend.

Glue almost set on armature. I should be able to start on the sculpting after lunch!    Got an inexpensive etching tool to finish some of what I was working on last night. Things are looking up!

mine is looking awesome. not sure if i already said this, but i will say it again. partner of mine, you will love me. the custom is looking fabulous in a scary way. just need to figure out when to get the dang candy.

First bit of sculpting done, alternative to finding my hiding Dremel acquired, and build order for painting ease done! Tested the head and can still put it on and off without damaging the uppermost sculpting details.

Welp, I did no work last night. Got in, sat down, got all my sculpting stuff out, got some sculpting videos ready on YouTube for inspiration, got all my tutorials ready on DeviantArt, then Boyfriend shouted tea was ready. 4 hours of saying "I really need to go work on my pony" later, I went to bed with a headache.

I'm basically terrified of it.

dont be scared i was the same on another custom of mine and finely it was saturday and i worked all day on it i finished the rehairing on sunday was tired after that burst of doing stuff but i got it done   so dont worry !
