Like StrawberryMeadow said, I wouldn't see the effect much but it's usually really cool on Halloween-themed ponies. I like it as long as it fits the design, but I don't see a reason to make something glow 'just because' if that makes sense.

Progress:

I don't remember what all I've said on this lol. I've nailed my design down I think, if I can pull it off. I've got to dig my box of baits out to see if one fits what I've planned or if I need to find something else. Some of y'all are making such fast progress already, I feel like a slacker

Mine only has any progress because overall it's gonna take much longer. Sculpting soooooooooooooooooooooooooooon. Pretty flaming excited !

FBR is all done, yay! Gonna work on it some more tomorrow afternoon.

I don't mind GITD hair or paint, my ponies don't typically see much light and I don't use the light in the collection room often enough to see the effect, but I do think it looks really great when it ties everything together

GITD is great. Like others have said, I wouldn't see it often, but if it suits the design, go for it and I'll enjoy it occasionally.

I won't have time to work on my custom again until the weekend, so c'mon Saturday!!!

Hmm... I guess that sort of depends on the pony. I do like things like mohair/alpaca etc.
