So I finally watched How To Train Your Dragon a few weeks ago, and then went and watched the sequel at the movies... (and then watched httyd2 again a couple days later).
I am in -LOVE-

So, OK, Toothless can't fly properly on his own, let alone without his gear, but let's just say this is before movie 1 before someone points that out, neh

Thanks yes, it's a bit off. First time trying to bring something to life in a few years, so it's basically just a sketch. But it turned out cute IMO :3
I animated it in some bamboo dock program first and realized it turned it into a super weird file, and eerything got messed up when I imported it to PS :/

The Toothless painting is absolutely stunning, what a beautiful atmosphere! I've always loved the sunset with those lovely shades of pink and pale yellow. Your choice of composition is interesting, I don't think it's very common to have that much empty space around the figure in fan art, but here it really works in creating the atmosphere of freedom and an endless sky.

The cat animation is adorable, too! In a way it reminds me of both Studio Ghibli and some western animations -- I don't know, something like Pelle Svanslös perhaps. A charming character, I'd love to see more!

Actually, I intended to include Cloud Jumper, but I scrapped that idea. Hence the composition... but I think it works, it went way better than expected

Oh my goodness!! <333 This is absolutely gorgeous!! I love toothless so so much, I wish I could have a huge plushie of him with his cute puppy dog eyes! You have a magnificent sense of color and I love how soft and spacious this is! Truly incredible! <3
