G1 'Pony book' (MLP Collectors Inventory).

I love Summer's G1 collector guide.. Do you have it? It's amazing... 

I broke my arm yesterday but the upside is I have heaps of time to sit around and 'pony hunt'.. one of my favourite things is getting out the 'pony book' (I actually have 2 copies of this book, one is 'mint' that I keep and the other is where the magic happens.. I LOVE checking off the ponies and seeing all those gorgeous piccies, its covered in highlighter and pencil notes about condition or which version etc...

How many of you have 'pony book' (mlp collectors inventory) and do you write in it?

I have mine that I keep mint, I  look at it when I need to de stress. As well as my mlp comics.

So far I have G1 and G2 inventory and all I do is tick off the girls that I've got (in pencil! And very lightly too! Lol)

Hope your arm gets better soon Hunni! At least you get lots of pony time, sure that will help in the recovery process!!! Xxx

I have all Summer's guide books, and Gypsy's Nirvana one. They are all well loved and well used. I haven't written in them, but my G3 guide is full of post it notes - I had kept track of which G3 ponies were available in Canada and which didn't come up here.

I recently bought the G1 book and plan on NEVER writing in it but I look through it from time to time, so it's not mint anymore but it's suppose to be used...

I used to have an inventory book... like in 2004? It was lost in a flood. Poor book

I have the nirvana one too, I don't use it much though as I had to keep writing new variants in it and it just got too much! xx

I don't have the G1 one yet, I do have the newest one though. And of course I love it, hoping to get the G1 one this year sometime That is if I can stop buying ponies and save for the book!

I've been tempted to get a G1 inventory book, but the internet has so much info as well. I primarily go to mylittlewiki if I need anything (or just ask Hathorcat... LOL).

Can someone tell me what year this was published? I was looking at them on Amazon.ca but there were a bunch of different versions so I gave up.

The book is the best! I use it to keep track of which ponies I have. I lost it for a few years after a few chaotic moves but I found it again a few months ago, if I hadn't I was seriously considering getting a new one as I was lost without it.

I have every book for all the gens except for gen 4 of course, I do tick off whom I have though.

Me too! <3 I have a few variants that aren't in the book, for example another color variant of Argie Sweetstuff and a rainbow mane tinsel variant of Princess Tabby. One of these days I'm actually going to print pics to put in there as well :p

Oh, and FleurLapin, I only check what I have off LIGHTLY in pencil too!  I know it's meant to be written in but i like to keep it as nice as possible ^_^
