I love homemade stuff! Green, silver, black and dark blues & purples are my fav colors. Can't go wrong with candy either >_>
But I don't really expect extras, I'll be happy with just my custom. <3

Hmm...I guess I tend to like blues and purples and reds.  But what I really love is minty green

I love homemade stuff! It is always fun to see what other things besides ponies that people make. As for colors, I like cool colors together (blues, whites, silvers) and autumn colors together (those reds, oranges, yellows, and browns that you see everywhere this time of year)

Homemade stuff is good for me. I like reds and metallics. Fall colors are great.

I am happy that it looks like what its supposed to look like but I am hating the fact that the clay isn't smooth and is all bumpy. Kinda like having brush strokes on a painted pony 

also, I need to stick it in the oven BEFORE painting, right? Im thinking paint will melt in an oven or catch on fire or something..?

Yes bake before you paint and then you can sand the bumps (don't quote me I'm new sculpting and this is what I do )

Paint typically doesn't do well in the oven, even at low temps. Sanding is definitely the best way to even it out, but if you don't get a small enough grain it can make the clay look ridged from the scratches of the sandpaper. Dark colors hide flaws better than light colors. Hang in there Tiki! You'll be pleasantly surprised how it all comes together, I'm sure.

I use anywhere from 700-1000 grit sandpaper. You can find it in the painting section in most hardware stores. The thousand grit is so smooth i use it to kill brushstrokes in my paintjob and to even even out the grainy feel after primering.
