How do you feel about combining characters?

For example, a four legged character being ridden by a two legged character from a different show
or
a large pony version (maybe a fashion style)of a character with maybe a smaller pony of a different character/little sculpted characters?

i think both ideas sound fun, i say go to town!

im still researching ideas and kicking around characters. only passingly familiar with a couple of my partners choices so hittin gup google images before i discard any options (or go with the safer choice of ones i know)

I'd have to go with option #2 myself, though both sound awesome! I've been binge watching one of my partners anime for the last couple days. I think I'm pretty well set on what I'm gonna do with this custom.

I would really like to watch one of the show's on my partner's list...but I am not sure where I can get hold of it!  I had such a hard time making a list.  There are so many shows I love and manga to boot!  I hate to admit it that I get a bit girly in my choices.  >.<  Anyone else seen Pretear?  Saiunkoku Monogatari?  Neither of them made my list because I just wasn't sure what to put down for them, but I like them a lot.  I need to look into some new supplies for this swap....

I like the 2nd idea best!  The first idea could be cool...but sometimes I'm a little OCD about things....you know, one of THOSE kind of people.  The kind that has different boxes for her kids' toys.  Legos and Thomas the Train tracks must not mingle!   That's kind of why I usually note that when it comes to ponies that are a mural or scene, I like one steady theme and not lots of decorations all over.  I might not have said so on my app for this swap, I guess I just had it in mind that the pony would be a character.

Also, there are a few people who ended up having each other just because of the way the preferences worked out, allergies, international shipping, ect. By and large the person that you have, does not have you.

 I would not be a fan of a mashup.
