I don't understand the sweetie drops vs. Bon bon. She has two names? Is holly dash related to RD?

Bon Bon is a fan name, Sweetie Drops is her official name
And Holly and Rainbow have no official relation to each other. Although you, yourself can make em relatives 

I like to think Rainbow Dash and Rainbow Flash are related!
and I do believe they made a G4 Rainbow Flash.

I always thought of those two as sisters, too!

I know British candies here in Canada are Lemon drops, Currant Drops, "other flavour" Drops, so it doesn't sound odd to me

Speaking as a Brit - the "drops" in the name makes complete sense to me. Things like cola drops or pear drops or lemon drops or apple drops are the actual name for some of our oldest traditional sweeties. They are all boiled sweets made of sugar and flavourings. Hey! Maybe she is a British pony or a pony with British relations.

I get the feeling Taobao is losing customers because the prices are now the same or higher than what it would cost to wait and get them in store, and most of the ponies are not rare prototypes that we would be willing to spend a little extra on.

I've been noticing that, too, Marigold. Seems everything is being made for production and very few genuine protos are coming out :/ Fewer protos = more money for more ponies, though!! But it makes proto collectors sad, I bet. I collect MIB oddities, though, so I think I'm still ok!

I haven't gone through this whole thread, so my apologies and please skip this post if existing knowledge, but the packaging seems to have turned up somewhere under the name "Cutie Mark Magic," which I guess means all the TAFness of "Rainbow Power" but without the extra hair colors. Also, neck ornaments that aren't made of paper!
