Until July 31st, EA is letting people redeem a FREE copy of The Sims 2 and ALL of its expansions and stuff packs!

You will need an EA Origin account to be able to redeem the offer but Origin is free (it's EA's knock off of Steam) and takes a few moments to sign up.

Do you know if it will work on Windows 8? I bought myself Sims 2 a couple years ago and my computer wasn't interested. (Although maybe it was my video card and not Win 8? I dunno.)

Unfortunately,  I've only played it on 7 so I'm not sure.

I think Windows 8.1 will let you run it but not 8.0. The modding communities for the game may have come up with workarounds, too.

I have mine downloading! So great to have all the expansion packs! I only had the Pets DLC!

This will hold me off until Sims 4 goes down in price

I always wanted to play Sims 2, but couldn't afford all the expansions. This is so great! Now I have to make sure I won't get addicted this summer... LOL
