My husband hates waking up from light coming in through the bedroom windows. He's not a morning person. Anyway, he decided to put a little velcro on the curtains and a bit on the wall so it would stay dark. Later he told me that the ponies told him they were glad he made it darker! He knows they are G1s and they could fade in the sun(I've taught him well).

Mine told me once (when I was being very grumpy and having a bad day) that I was acting like that fake pony 'Princess crazy teeth'...  (pretty sure he meant rinse n spit)

My husband knows nothing about ponies, but I catch myself excitedly "teaching" him things about my new ones (And THIS one is is a sparkle pony, her name is...!).  I guess eventually it just rubs off on them.

My hubby really doesn't like the ponies, but yesterday I was buying the box with the G4 books, and a few were damaged, so he rather enthusiastically helped me find one that was perfect. Then later complained about me looking at it instead of doing something else equally as trivial. Husbands are weird sometimes!

tee hee....I was going to suggest that maybe it might be time to get a shaman or an exorcist or something. j/k my guy's not too interested in my equine pursuits but he knows enough to pick one out and wow me and he has picked out a few for my daughter, for her bday, xmas, when she makes honor roll etc. plus he owns a McDonald's Pony, I think her name's DJ?

That's so funny! As a side note, I did the exact same thing with my first daughter's blind when she was a baby many years ago. Little strips of Velcro along the side and bottom of her blackout shade! Momma likes her sleep!!

My hubby has the same behaviour ;o))) he do not specially appreciate them and sometimes have a strange look at them lol
But on the other hand I have to admit he understand how important they are for me and how much I really love them.

I jokingly told my sister to water the stables while I was on vacation. She was taking care of other pets so I gave her extra ridiculous instructions like, brush each pony's mane 100 times each night and give them kisses before bed.

During vacation she began to update me with things like.

"Ponies are fine but PinkiePie threw a house party the first night you left."

"There was a war and Pinkie's been banned to your nightstand she was upsetting the rest of the herd."

"I think a pony may have gone missing but they won't tell me which one, I suspect foul play."

"The dolls and the ponies have decided to found their own cities on opposite sides of your shelf due to creative differences"
